At the start of 2026, the church authorities proposed a rewrite of the church guide of which stock was running low.

Two member of the committee proposed to create a new, smaller, guide that would provide brief information, but would offer the viewer QR codes to read further from an online guide.  

​

The proposal was to incorporate the online guide as part of the History Society website, as the latter would require a comprehensive section on the church.  Additionally, QR code plaques would be produced to be placed around the church for visitors to scan.

 

The online guide is substantially more detailed than the paper guide and contains many more images.

 

The Project was concluded in late March 2026 when the guide were printed and the QR codes installed.

 

A very successful and cost effective solution that has been received well from visitors.
